About this program
T.E.A.C.H. (Teacher Education and Compensation Helps) provides comprehensive scholarships to childcare workers pursuing college credentials and degrees in early childhood education. The state typically covers 60% of tuition, the employer 20%, and the worker pays just 20% — which is often fully offset by a Pell Grant. Completion bonuses of $300–$1,000 are also provided. Available in 26 states.
Who qualifies?
Childcare workers (teachers, home providers) employed in childcare settings who want to pursue early childhood education credentials or degrees. Must be in a state with a T.E.A.C.H. program.
What you get
